Training Description:
This training is designed to equip childcare providers with effective strategies for fostering positive behaviors in their childcare setting. Participants will learn the main reasons why children misbehave and deep dive into attention seeking behaviors.

- proactive techniques to reduce attention seeking behaviors
- strategies to encourage desirable behaviors
- how to address behaviors in the moment
By the end of this training, you will feel empowered implementing positive discipline strategies to support long term behavior change!
Training Outcomes:
At the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Identify what a child really wants when they use attention seeking behaviors
- Identify ways you can prevent misbehavior before it happens
- Identify ways you can respond to and redirect misbehavior
Training Credit:
This 3 hour training is approved for 0.3 IACET CEU's. Check that the training is approved in your state.
Assessment:
At the end of the training is a 10 question multiple choice quiz. You must pass with an 80% but don't worry, you get 3 opportunities to take and pass the quiz!
Evaluation:
An anonymous course evaluation is required to complete.
Completion Deadline:
This training expires 6 months from the date of purchase. The course must be successfully completed by the expiration date in order to receive a certificate. Don't forget to download and save the supplemental resources too!
