Training Description:
25-35% of typically developing children have some sort of feeding problem. Learn ways you can support getting baby ready for solids, how to handle gagging, throwing food, picky eating, food refusal, and more! This training is also packed with information about the nutritional needs and serving size recommendations, how to include diverse cultures, and information on when to be concerned.
Training Outcomes:
At the end of this training, you will be able to:
- identify 5 ways to support getting baby ready for solid foods.
- name 1 possible solution to common problems that occur at mealtimes
- Identify the nutritional needs of children from 6 months to 5 years
Training Credit:
This 3 hour training is approved for 0.3 IACET CEU's. Check to see if your state is approved.
Assessment:
At the end of the training is a 10 question multiple choice quiz. You must pass with an 80% but don't worry, you get 3 opportunities to take and pass the quiz!
Completion Deadline:
This training expires 6 months from the date of purchase. The course must be successfully completed by the expiration date in order to receive a certificate. Don't forget to download and save the supplemental resources too!
