This 3 hour training focuses on evidence-based practices for teaching vocabulary in natural, meaningful contexts while sparking curiosity through Science exploration. Participants will learn how to integrate vocabulary for each of the 5 science domains into everyday routines, hands on activities, books, and toy, sensory, and imaginative play. By the end of the session, providers will leave with a toolkit for boosting vocabulary development (which leads to later academic success!) and foster a love for Science.
